One of several local shops and much loved by the younger crew for their caring manner and endless free advice and time. Their “No manners No spanners” policy ensures they spread politeness and respect.   They'll even give you 10% discount if you say you are from HHYCC!

The Brixton Cycles Club was initially set up in October 1997 because friends and customers wanted to ride together. Funds raised were used to support the clubs race team in all aspects of cycle sport. These days the team is a seperate entity run and funded by the shop so club funds can be freed up to pay for affiliations printing costs and overheads. We're a very mixed group of people who believe that cycling as transport is undervalued, under used and under supported.

We are regularly consulted on cycling issues such as design of the London Cycle Network, collision remedy schemes, location of cycle racks and making sure that cycling is well represented in Southwark's bids for money from central government....

We are a local group, affiliated to the London Cycling Campaign (LCC) , working to improve facilities and provision for cycling in the London Borough of Lewisham.

We organise rides for all abilities, hold regular meetings, carry out free repairs to bikes at our Dr. Bike stall, liaise with Lewisham Council and generally try to raise the profile of cycling. It’s a cheap, efficient, healthy and of course fun way to move around London and elsewhere.

Formed in 1886, we are one of the oldest Cycling Clubs in the country. If you like history and tradition applied to the 21st Century Catford is the place to be Riding, Racing and "Good Felowship" are the words. Maybe we don't have the world champions anymore but we all have a good time. Look at our 'Club History' to see what has been achieved and why we value our cycling traditions.

The VCL was set up in 1964 with the express aim of encouraging young riders into the sport, with an emphasis on track racing at Herne Hill Velodrome , Burbage Road, London, the home of the club. Over the years the club has moved on from being a feeder club, and though track racing is very much its focus, with a number of National champions in its ranks, a wide range of ages and interests are now catered for.

Dulwich Paragon are a large club who welcome our over 12s on their Saturday rides.   They ride from the velodrome so its a great way to get into club road riding.

Although we have nearly 600 members, you'll find us a friendly club, based in south London and dedicated to the serious and sporting cyclist.  Road and circuit racing - and training for them - form a major part of our activities.  But the club also competes on the track, in time-trials and in cyclo-cross events at all levels.  Club members also participat in cyclo-sportives, at home and abroad, and we have some seriously dedicated long distance riders in our ranks.
